Become Hugh's Sponsor:
Hugh is a sweet boy but is somewhat shy. He needs a patient and loving home to help him come out of his shell and blossom. Hugh is currently in a foster home that is working with him so he can become the loving cat he wants to be. His name became Hugh because he's such a big boy (currently 14.5lbs) that they started calling him 'Huge Cat' and that became "Hugh". Everytime he walks into the room they say "Hi Hugh!" and he seems to like his name.
Hugh likes to be near you, it takes him a while to warm up to someone but once he does he's very loving. He loves other cats and tolderates dogs. He likes to be petted by one member of his foster family and particularly likes treats. He's becoming sweeter every day.
When the "F" litter of kittens came to Alley Cats and Angels, the kittens were in very poor health. The kittens were born into a feral colony with no regular caregiver. All kittens were covered in fleas and suffered flea anemia. Most of the kittens were dehydrated and severely malnourished. Over half of the kittens had eye problems and terrible ear mites. But medical treatment and proper food and fluids, the kittens got better. All of the "F" and are now adopted. Only Hugh is still searching for his forever home.
