I'm an active, playful, super-friendly ginger tabby with adorable white mittens, bib, and belly. I love playing with toys, and though I can amuse myself for quite a while batting balls around and stashing them in various places around the house, my most favorite game right now is fetch. I bring one of my fuzzy balls to foster-mom and get her to toss it somewhere, so I can chase it down, bring it back, and ask her to toss it again. So you see, I love to be with people -- my foster mom works from home and when I get tired of fetch I spend my time (or as much time as she will let me) on her lap in the office. I stick by her side at night too.

There's another older cat here and I play some with her too, though she started out not too friendly. She's warmed up to me a bit. There are some other really little foster cats here too and I love to play with them, groom them, and teach them who's boss.

I've got a sensitive digestion and need to be fed special food. I do much better when I eat Purina Overweight Management food (available at the vet only) as recommended by the vet. It’s a low residue food and does not seem to upset my tummy. I eat the dry and get a little bit of Purina OM canned food each day as a treat. (Note: Purina OM food is approximately $26.00 for an 8-pound bag, plus canned food. The cost of Oscar’s food is comparable to Science Diet, Natures Balance, etc.).

Oscar was rescued from a high-kill shelter.
