Yaya is the very petite little girl and so sweet. She has the tiniest little nose and tongue and her little tongue sticks out most of the time and it makes her simply adorable! She is a loveable girl and although she doesn’t typically sit on your lap, she loves to lay next to you with her paws on your lap and wants to sleep with you a night. She’s a quiet girl who loves attention. Yaya is just now learning to play.
Yaya is not assertive when it comes to food, so when she was living in a house with 68 other cats, she didn’t get enough food – most likely pushed out of the way by the other cats – when she came to us, she was extremely thin. Yaya had an old ulcer on her left eye that caused a bacterial infection and made her sick. Once her eye was removed and she was started on a course of antibiotics, she flourished and is doing great and has gotten a clean bill of health from our vet.
Yaya and the other American Shorthairs were taken in from bad living situation with almost 70 other cats.
